Water absorbs rust, iron, odours, dust, decaying matter . . . just to mention a few! Our municipal system chemically removes some pollutants through chlorination but all the raw mineral impurities are still there. The choice is yours. You live with these impurities and the cost and downfalls that go along with them . . . or enjoy the benefits and savings of pure, clean, filtered soft water. After all water is something you and your family use everyday! A Water Master machine softens, filters and refines all the raw materials out of your water supply!

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SOFT WATER?

Dishes, glasses and silverware sparkle. No white spots or streaks.

22% savings on energy costs because refined water eliminates lime scale and raw mineral deposits that clog water pipes, toilet valves, shower nozzles, automatic washers, humidifiers, kettles and hot water heaters.

Saves on costly repairs to your plumbing, fixtures and appliances.

Raw water leaves soap curds and detergent deposits on your fabrics. This dulls colours and gives a grey or yellow appearance to should-be whites. Bleach will no longer be necessary nor fabric softening agents. Your clothes last longer, are soft, bright and smell fresher.

Chrome fixtures, sinks, bathroom tiles and shower doors will be spot free and gleaming with no scrubbing, abrasive cleansers or expensive cleaning products.

No bathtub rings or stained toilets.

So you can see how a water refiner in your home will not raise your monthly budget . . . but will lower it! It’s a home appliance that pays for itself! It’s not what you put in your water that counts . . . It’s what you take out.

GOOD WATER DOESN’T COST MONEY . . . IT SAVES

• Dull dishes, glasses, and silverware, with white spots and/or streaks?
• Soap curds and detergent deposits on your fabrics?
• Dull, grayish or yellowish whites – on shirts, sheets, towels?
• Chrome fixtures, sinks, bathroom tiles, shower doors and walls spotted or streaked with soap scum?
• Dark colored stains or rings around bathtubs and toilets?
• Gradual lessening of pressure in your water supply?

A water treatment system from Great Lakes Water Solutions can literally change your life!

Water absorbs rust, iron, odors, dust, decaying matter, and other liquids, gases and solids. Your municipal system removes or reduces many of these pollutants through chlorination and other methods, but much of the raw mineral impurities remain. You can continue to struggle with these impurities and the costs and problems they cause, or you can enjoy the benefits of pure, clean, filtered soft water. Your dishes will sparkle, your laundry will be whiter and brighter, the stains in your toilets, sinks, bathrooms and showers will disappear, and your plumbing, pipes, and appliances will not become gradually coated with mineral deposits.

Remember: it’s not what you put into your water that’s important. It’s what you take out!

Chromium-6 is highly toxic and has been found to cause allergic dermatitis, and stomach and gastrointestinal cancer in animals and humans. Used in the manufacture of stainless steel, textiles, anti-corrosion coatings, and in leather tanning, it gets into drinking water through industrial pollution. It is also present naturally in some minerals.

What are sources of chromium-6?
Chromium in different forms can be used for making steel and other alloys, for chrome plating, for dyes and pigments, and for leather and wood preservation. It can also be found naturally in soil. The primary forms of chromium found in the environment are chromium-3 and chromium-6 and these forms can convert back and forth depending on environmental conditions.

Meanwhile, if your drinking water contains chromium-6, the best way to filter it out is with reverse osmosis combined with a superior carbon filter. Bottled water is not a solution, since many types of bottled water are simply repackaged tap water.

What advice does the EPA offer to those worried about whether their tap water is safe enough to drink?
Ensuring safe drinking water for all Oklahomam’s is a top priority for Oklahoma Water Authority – which includes chromium-6. If you are concerned about the safety of your drinking water you can take additional steps. Contact us for a Water Quality Test.
